Feeding His sheep with Agape Love

Posted in Elsabe's Blog at 12:15 am by Administrator

As I was worshipping, I stepped into the spirit realm and saw Jesus walking in a meadow, watching sheep. I was lagging behind (having been very distracted the night before) and caught up with Him. He leaned over to look deep into my eyes, His eyes burning with the fire of love. I saw no condemnation but a deep, compelling pull to be one with His heart.

Then I saw Him pick up one of the lambs whose front legs were both broken. He held it close to Him and I understood by revelation of the Spirit that He is ever ready to pick up the hurting, the broken, the lame and the helpless to comfort, heal and restore. This is the agape love of the Shepherd in action and He wants me to walk as He did, for the glory of the Father.

I was reminded of how He restored Peter who has betrayed Him. He never scolded him or reprimanded him, but His question was, “Peter, do you love Me?”

By asking Peter, “Do you love me?” three times, Jesus was restoring him and at the same time giving him the commission to feed his sheep. The message He conveys is that we should care for those who belong to Christ in the same way that He, the Lord, does. We forgive fully because of his unconditional love for us, proved by His laying down His life for us on the cross. This incident with Peter happened after His resurrection and here Peter receives the revelation that the agape love of Jesus is the requirement to love as He loves and feed His sheep, restoring them to Him in the power of the resurrection.

The one thing we have to learn here is that Jesus requires agape love – the God-kind of love, which is unconditional forgiveness. That will enable us to shepherd and care for those who belong to the Master. Phileo love was the response of Peter, but Jesus wants to pull us higher into the provision of His apage love through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit.
We can draw on His provision, making ourselves available to love with His love and then we will have the compassionate, nurturing love that feeds the sheep, wherever they are at.

Prayer: Father God, as I am learning about the self-sacrificing love of the Shepherd, I realize I cannot do this by myself. Therefore, I yield to Your glorious Presence on the inside, allowing You to change my heart to love as You love. I ask that You imprint this message on my heart, Lord and empower me by Your Spirit to love, forgive and feed Your sheep with compassion with no record of their wrongs.

Being armored in His glory Presence of Light

Silhouette of a Man Praying

As the warrior bride, we stay fully armored in the battle array of light (Romans 13:12), having put on the Lord Jesus Christ: Girded in Truth, our mind being protected with the helmet of Salvation (having the mind of Christ), our heart clothed in His righteousness, feet shod with the preparation of peace.

The shield of faith protects us against the fiery darts of the enemy and our Sword is sharpened in His Presence where we receive His Word for every situation.

Praying in tongues is the safe place of peace with a pure heart in the battle itself, being in the Spirit, our mind being led by the Spirit, speaking the Word of God by the Spirit, singing and rejoicing in the Spirit. Such prayer will always bring God’s answers forth! Hallelujah!

The Word revealed floods us with His Presence

God’s Presence becomes tangible when His Word becomes alive through revelation of who He is.

When the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation illuminate the Word to my understanding (Eph.1:17), His living Presence floods my senses and deep adoration springs up like a well from inside me, overflowing in tears of thankfulness and joy as He makes Himself known to me.

“Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you” (Matt.7:7)

Spirit Life

Someone said, “Find Happiness, find your purpose.” We are happy, blessed and fulfilled when we allow God to truly reign in every circumstance in our lives. When our turmoil is handed over to the King of kings and Lord of lords, we suddenly find our hands emptied of issues – open and then, lifting them up to worship is easy. It’s free!

Allowing the Spirit of God to have a free flow in and through your life, brings you in a flow where His righteousness rushes through you like a river of joy and peace. It’s what I like to call “spa”-life – energizing, refreshing, invigorating and empowering. Wow! There is no stress, no pushing or striving to arrive, but simply abundant Kingdom life to enjoy – then to be expressed in shining glory of light and love, causing His manifest presence to bring miracles, signs and wonders.  Hallelujah to the Lamb!

Silent Songs of Worship exploding………

A silent song of worship wells up inside me, overwhelming my senses – culminating in a kiss of adoration to my Beloved. My heart and spirit sings, reverberating inside the corridors of my temple in a profound love-song, eclipsing every other consciousness until I cannot contain it and it escapes as a whisper of loving adulation, caressing His Name!

A State of Bliss in His Presence

IMG_1578A state of bliss in His Presence

There is no disturbance of static in God’s glory-presence. It is a place of sublime bliss – overflowing with the consciousness of God’s goodness and grace in fulness of peace, bubbling with joy.

In His glory Presence the heart’s eyes are filled with the light of revelation, wisdom and understanding of Who He is.

To see His face and to know the Christ is your focus.

Thus, looking into His glory, transformation is an ongoing process into the likeness of His image in a flow of enjoyment of the Spirit’s fruit under an open heaven.

There is no “trying” to work things out, or to achieve or strive for some kind of recognition or approval. It is a place of His rest where you only move in the flow of the Holy Spirit. While all your spiritual senses are tuned to Him, following His cue, doing as you are led to do by His power – all for the glory of God.

When the enemy comes with a negative suggestion or threat, you do not engage with it, but simply hand it over to the Father, asking Him to give you His Word on it. Then wait on His guidance.

Your house is filled with worship and ceaseless prayer, staying your mind on the Lord and He will keep you in perfect peace.

Waiting on Him you become intertwined with Him, knitted into His being in oneness, drinking of the new wine of His love and life, perpetually singing with the sound of His glory in the river of life.

Lingering in His Presence-consciousness, His fragrance permeates your very being causing you to hunger and thirst of Him even more – lovesick for the Beloved.

My Shell “present”

Posted in Elsabe's Blog at 12:34 am by Administrator

Today I received such a special “love letter” from the Lord. He knows our frame, knowing when we need that special touch of HIs love and He knows what moves us.

I was walking on the beach with one of my grandchildren, looking for shells, when I found this beautiful, perfect pansy shell, which evokes fond memories of my father and mother.

The story of the cross and His wounds is engraved in this exquisite shell and I just sensed the Lord reminding me of His amazing love, which caused Him to lay down His life for us. Tears started streaming down my face as the moment turned into an intimate love-encounter with My Lord while building an altar of worship in the spirit for the Love of my life-right there on the beach, without anyone around me realizing it.

His love for us is so personal, unique and glorious! It flooded my whole being with wonder.

After a while my little granddaughter came up to me and I told her that I received a special present from Jesus.  She was enthralled by it’s beauty.

I put it in a safe place and when we were ready to leave she asked me where my shell-present was…….a heart-engraved memory.

“Let Your Kingdom come”

Posted in Elsabe's Blog at 12:09 pm by Administrator

The kingdom comes to earth because the one who has been breathing in the atmosphere of heaven releases that atmosphere on earth through God’s commands. So it is all about the King! It is about being in His presence and releasing His presence, His Word, His power on earth. It is about breathing in His glory and then exhaling it into the earth.

As we breathe in His light and receive His power, peace and authority of His Word – then releasing it through kingly decrees into the earth over people and circumstances, it brings change and transformation, establishing God’s Kingdom on earth.

Being a House of Worship

Posted in Elsabe's Blog at 2:11 pm by Administrator

I was so hungry for the Lord, asking to see His face (Ps.27) – and as I started thanking Him and praising Him together with a worship CD, I suddenly saw His face watching over the world for the incense of our praise and worship going up to Him, finding great pleasure in hearts that are set upon Him alone – no other gods.

I was thinking of different cultures, praising God in different expressions and different rhythms. The thought came to me that we are so blessed to have voices (built-in instruments) that can sound His praises all day long and I was expressing my thanks to Him for this privilege.
Then I became aware of all of creation singing forth His praises (Ps.148) and went into deep worship of who He is in His magnificent glory.

John 4:24: “God is … God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” KJV
