2 Cor 4:11-12        “For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus
might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.  So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
” - KJV

When the Lord’s death works in us, He imparts His resurrection life through us to others and this is always the issue of
our suffering the death of the cross, namely that it will bring life to others.

2 Cor 4:10        “Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be
made manifest in our body.
” - KJV

The life of Jesus being made manifest is expressed through different very significant metaphors.  We, his vessels of
glory, are described as incense-bearers, bearing the fragrance of Christ;  as letters written with the ink of the Holy Spirit;
as mirrors reflecting the glory of Christ and as earthen vessels, containing the Christ of glory.  This life of Christ can
only manifest as we bear the dying of the Lord Jesus in every situation in life.

1 Peter 5:5-6        "Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another,
and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves
therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
" - KJV

Humble submission is our launch pad for promotion and favor and honor.    Be willing to take the low place under God’
s hand and serve those that are in authority over you with meekness.   He looks at your heart, so be quiet and wait upon
the Lord until He deems it fit to be gracious over you and He will promote you in due time when you have passed the

2 Cor 3:17        “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” - KJV

The Lord  is living inside of us by His Spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!  He leads us, guides us
and shows us the way, not by the letter of the law, but by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus which hath made me
free from the law of sin and death.  Let us follow Him in full assurance of faith, knowing that He will also lead us into all

Phil 2:2-3        ”...Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” -

What joy there is when you find brothers and sisters that are likeminded.  They have the same love for Jesus, have the
agreement of their experience of the glory of His Presence and their mind is on one thing, namely to bring Him glory!

Let us enjoy these gifts of grace that God has given us in our brothers and sisters and esteem and honor them highly
because of the One who lives inside of them, having endowed each one with different gifts and talents to serve the body
in their different anointing for His glory.

2 Peter 1:19        "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a
light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts..
” - KJV

The word of Prophecy is given to us by the grace of God through the mouths of the prophets and it will do us well to
meditate on it and heed it as it illuminates our way through dark places, giving us direction and guidance to reach our
God-ordained destination in Christ Jesus.

2 Chron 20:21        "Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever." - KJV

When you ever hit a tight spot, whatever it might be, be reminded of the overwhelming threat that Jehoshaphat faced
when three armies came against Israel at the same time.  The strange thing God commanded them to do didn’t make
sense to the natural mind, but this is still what God is looking for.  He is watching to see whether we will trust in and
praise Him for His mercy against all odds.  When He finds one that will praise Him in the face of adversity, He comes
through every time and will give you the victory in the seemingly impossible situation.

Jonah 1:1        “Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai,...” - KJV

Not obeying will affect not only our own lives, future and destiny, but also adversely affect the lives of those around us,
even causing their “boats” to be subjected to storms and loss.  For such a time as this, we have the opportunity to
measure up to the plumb line of “The Word of the Lord” and come in alignment with His will and ways and walk out our
destiny, having the restorative effect on those whose lives we are bound to meet up with.

October 23

Jonah 1:1        “Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittail...” - KJV

When the Word of the Lord comes to you, the question is, “will you obey?”

We all have resisted the Lord’s instructions at one point or another to greater and lesser degrees.  The point is still,
“Will you obey?”  It is never too late to repent and align yourself with His plans and purposes.  Let us  therefore take
stock of our lives and our reasoning, neglect, delays, excuses and resistance regarding the instructions of the Lord.
Now is the “kairos” time to get aligned with His will in every aspect of our lives and simply obey.  Diligent obedience
releases His blessings into every area of our lives and that is the place of our own choice.

October 22

Matt 6:33-7:1        “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added
unto you.   Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
” - KJV

The gospel of Jesus Christ is so simple.  Jesus preached about the Kingdom and this is His instruction to us.  Seek to
understand and live the Kingdom principles and His righteousness for your present day and leave the rest into His
hands with no worry or anxiety or fear for the morrow.  He shall go before you and make the crooked places straight
when you put Him and His Kingdom first.

October 21

Ps 89:15-17        “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy
countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.  For thou art
the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
” - KJV

The secret of our joy and our strength lies in a tuned ear – tuned to hear the joyful sound of God’s voice that brings light
into our situations.  As we seek His face and His Presence in order to hear His instructions, He speaks to our spirit and
it brings joy to our soul and lights up our countenance with His joy so that we can rejoice in His Name and walk in His
righteousness.  He strengthens us with the glory of His Presence and favors us with His goodness.

October 20        Rest

Heb 4:9-10        “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also
hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
” - KJV

This is called the Sabbath Rest, which is Christ Jesus, our Promised Land.  When we have “entered” into Christ, who
is our fulfillment, we cease from our own works and find our rest in Him in the spirit. All striving of self power has now
ceased and our joy, our life and our peace is in Him and we enjoy the life of Christ in the spirit in union with Him.

Mark 16:17-18        "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
” - KJV

The power of testimony is transforming.  This is what the world is waiting for!  So what are we, “them that believe”,
waiting for?  Let us rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and do the work of believers to bring the glory of God
everywhere we go!

October 18        Peace

Rom 14:19        “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify
” - KJV

When our goal is to live in peace with one another, it implies; on the one hand that we will avoid everything that can lead
to discord or do harm; and on the other hand to do everything in our power to see our brother prosper in spirit, soul and
body, as well as materially.

"To edify means to “build”, as a house is built; then to “reconstruct”;  then “to adorn or beautify”.  It is derived from the
word "
doma" (do'-mah); (NT:1430) from "demo" (to build); properly, an edifice, i.e. (specially) a roof: thus it can also
mean to “cover” like a roof over a building."

October 17        “OIL OF GLADNESS”

Psalm 46:4        "There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High

I love The Message paraphrase, "River fountains splash joy, cooling God's city."

The kingdom of God consists of righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Ghost.  This is key to the overcoming life.
Remember, the devil is a thief and if he can steal any of the above ingredients, he has a party.  Depleted of joy, we
cannot see our destiny, we cannot enjoy the Christ-life, our strength in the Spirit is robbed and we are slogging on in
the strength of self.

Joy is a power booster for our faith.  When the Word of God gets into my spirit, joy arises with my faith in expectation of
the manifestation of that Word and I rejoice in advance in the fulfillment thereof.  It opens my eyes to “see” the end result
and I am carried towards the manifestation on the strength of that joy.

October 16        "Fruit of Life"

Prov 18:21        “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” - KJV

When we speak life over a situation, declaring the Word of the Lord over the person or circumstance, we release
blessing.  This Scripture states that we shall eat the fruit of the word that comes forth from our tongue.

Let us use our tongue only as an instrument of blessing and we will see the fruit of life that is performed by the creative
power of God’s Word.

October 15        "Be Strengthened"

Ps 45:7-8        “Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with
the oil of gladness above thy fellows.  All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory
palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
” - KJV

Let us jump into the river and flow on the streams of the Holy Ghost, enjoying the Presence of the Christ inside of us,
drinking into the Spirit and be smeared with His anointing oil of gladness and perfumed with the fragrance of worship
in intimacy with Him.  This way we will stay refreshed, strong in His power of His joy and overcoming every adverse
situation with the weapons of our warfare in Christ.

Father, we ask in Jesus’ Name, “anoint us in Your river of Life with the oil of joy for strength to endure and to overcome
every negative situation in our lives,  for:
2 Cor. 12:9        “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore
will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
” - KJV

Col 1:10-11        "
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and
increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience
and longsuffering with joyfulness.
" - KJV

October 14        “Exceeding Abundantly Above…”

Eph 3:20-4:1        “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to
the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without
” - KJV

“REJOICE IN MY GRACE and my working behind the scenes.  Yes, I am working things out far beyond what you can
pray or think according to My glorious Spirit’s working in you and yours.  Rejoice in it now.  Rejoice that I have wrought
the victory for you through My precious blood on Calvary and nothing can reverse it.   Stand on that accomplished work
Be assured of it, I say!”

October 13        “Seeing by the Eyes of Faith”

Rom 4:17       " ..and calleth those things which be not as though they were." - KJV

In Abraham we have the example of walking in faith for the things God has promised us.  God has given him His word
and showed him the multiplication of his seed prophetically in the symbolism of the stars and the sand, but until he
came in agreement with that Word and vision, nothing could be manifested.

Many of us have received prophecies over the years and may have left them on the shelf, but God has not forgotten
about His own dreams for us.  We have to come in alignment and agreement with those promises by faith and identify
with it.

When we come to the place where we can “see” it by the eyes of faith and envision God’s promises for us, and start
calling it just as though it were, we position ourselves for the manifestation of the promise.

Prayer:  Father, we pray that you give us the grace to come in agreement with Your Word.  Help us to “see” it already by
the eyes of faith and to call it as though it were, in Jesus’ Name.  Amen

October 12        “Pray Without Ceasing….”

1 Thess 5:17        "Pray without Ceasing..." - NKJV

There is a wake-up call for the body of Christ to pray like never before, because the days are evil.  Let’s wake up and
guard in prayer over our families and loved ones, over the family in the Lord.  Pray earnestly with FAITH, LOVE and
COMPASSION for the sick, lost, broken, needy, hurting and backslidden.  Pray for the leadership in the local church,
pray for the authorities, pray for your neighborhood, city, nations.  Call your promises and prophecies into manifestation
in faith!  Do not be satisfied with the “status quo”.

Whatever the need, get prayer partners who pray in faith and agreement, expecting an answer from the Lord.  PRAY
WITHOUT CEASING for yourself and others and ask God to raise up intercessors to cover you in the love blanket with

When the body of Christ stand in one accord, praying in faithful expectancy, God answers with signs and wonders, His
grace abounding.  His commanded blessing of life is on those who walk in unity.

He is waiting for us to come to Him in total dependency, trusting Him fully as the One who provides in ALL our need
according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.
Find Scripture promises concerning the situation and use your mouth as a launching agent to send the creative power
of the Word of God into the situation: CALL ON GOD’S POWER AND  PRAY in FAITH, then PRAISE, PROCLAIM,

October 11        "Denying the Self”

Luke 9:23-25        “Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up
his cross daily, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My
sake will save it.  For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?
” - NKJV

So many times during the day we are tempted to rely on self or to react in the flesh because we give in to various kinds
of fears that bring us into self-protection.  When the pressure comes on, become still and listen to the counsel of the
Holy Spirit.

The lesson that the Lord wants to teach us here, is that denial of our self life, brings us the gain of His Life.

Let me repeat it in other words:
Death of self is the KEY that gives us entry through the door into the abundant Life.
The door is Christ Jesus Himself.
Death of self is the KEY into the Resurrection Life of the Holy Spirit!

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the
flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
” (Gal 2:20) NKJV

So I see that the loss of my own life of self brings me into a faith walk, a walk of humility and dependence and total trust
in Him.

There is nothing in this world that can measure up to the glory of the abundant Life in Christ, but the issue of self-denial
lies in the heart.

Therefore to maintain a life in the Spirit, IN Christ, we have to consecrate ourselves DAILY to the Lord, deny the self,
take up the cross and follow Jesus AND LOVE HIM with ALL OUR HEART, SOUL AND MIND and ALL OUR STRENGTH.

This way of life will bring an end to all our false motives, our own agendas, our preferences and indulgences, our
malice and hypocrisy and guile, our self ability and self sufficiency, our self awareness and everything that pertains to

It is the way into UNION WITH THE FATHER AND THE SON THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT (John 17) and the only way
to true COMMUNION.

In UNION LIFE there is no mixture, but only the purity and transparency and FULLNESS of the Spirit of Life.

Father, give us Your grace and let us simply walk out of self into Christ, into the fullness of joy in His Presence, enjoying
Him and abiding in Him and let Him live His Life through us by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

October 10        “The High Calling in Christ”

Phil 3:13-14        “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things
which are behind,  and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  I press toward the mark for the prize of
the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
” - KJV

God puts a calling on the inside of those whom He wants to use in His vineyard and no matter what you choose to
occupy yourself with, that calling will never go away, even if you would try to ignore it or reason it away.

Paul encourages us to leave those things behind that would pull us away from that calling and to reach forth unto those
things that He has set before us and then to press in towards the mark of that calling of God, which is a high calling in
Christ Jesus.

Let us not allow the things of this world to get preference over that calling on the inside of us.  Let us come in whole-
hearted agreement with God to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and let our hearts embrace His plans for our life, no
matter how impossible it seems to us.  He is going before us to make the crooked places straight and His grace is
sufficient to keep us where He has called us to.

So let us get focused on the “mark” in submission to Him, and also in submission to the authority He has placed over
us as “covering”, embracing His assignments in the place where He has called us to.

October 9        “Be Mindful to be a Blessing…!"

Deut 28:1-2        "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all
His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the
earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your
God." - NKJV

Here we see clearly that diligent obedience to the commandments of the Lord results in His commanded blessing.
The opposite is also true, namely that disobedience brings a curse. This is a personal choice that each of us has to
make in each situation and it is a law, like sowing and reaping.  What we sow in blessing will bring forth a harvest of
blessing, be it words of blessing, declarations of blessing, gifts of blessing or offerings.

When walking in the conscious awareness of the power of blessing, obeying God in all and then sowing blessing
everywhere we go, in everything we do, will bring
us in a flow of reaping blessing and living a blessed life.  The choice is ours!

Let us bless our relationships with favor and goodwill, our ministries and business with success, and every situation in
our lives with God’s grace and favor.  It surely will produce good fruit.

October 8        “Know your Assignment”

Col 1:9-12        “I do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all
wisdom and spiritual understanding;  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good
work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all
patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of
the inheritance of the saints in light…” - KJV

When we position ourselves in worship and quietness before the Lord, our ears are tuned to receive the knowledge of
His will, His instructions and assignments, in order to walk well-pleasing in His sight.  This brings fruitfulness, and fruit
that remains, and in walking out His will, we come to know Him more, living a life that is well-pleasing to Him, in perfect
sync with His heart’s desires.

This place of quiet listening is also the place of strengthening with joy to bear every trying situation coming our way with
patience and longsuffering.

In the end it produces a thankful spirit, knowing that being in His will positions us for our inheritance with the saints in
the light.

October 7        “Obedience To Authority Brings Covering”

God often uses His prophets to bring that Word of correction when we stray away to bring us back under the covering of
His protection.

Matt 23:37        “
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and
ye would not!
” - KJV

Our Father has a mother-hen nature, and when He calls us to Him by His Word in the mouths of His prophets, we
should know that it is only because He wants to protect us under the covering of His wings.  God covers obedience and
humble submission of surrender to Him in worship.  He does not “cover” rebellion and pride, which is sin.

When we do not submit to Him, we become prey to the enemy and he will steal, kill and destroy, but when we heed the
voice of the Shepherd and submit to His Word, doing His commandments, we return His love and He will make His
abode with us.

Then is will be natural to also submit to the godly authority which God has put over us in His governmental order for our
protection and we find shelter under the shadow of His wings – under the protection of the King where the falcon and
the hawk cannot get to us.  He is our refuge and in Him we put our trust!

October 6        Watching And Listening

Beloved, this is a time for increase and expansion for those who are watching and listening intently to see what the
Spirit is saying.  It is a time to venture into new territory for those who will walk in faith to possess their promises and
step into the destiny that God has prepared for them!

Incline your ear, go higher up to worship and listen for the voice of provision on the Mount.  When you hear His call, step
out on the water.  He will be there, stretching His hand out to you!

It is time to shake yourself loose from everything that has held you back, especially the limitation of your mind-set.  Go
beyond your own barriers and break through into the seemingly impossible.  It is only a step of faith and trust when you
have heard His voice.

Is. 55:2
"Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your
ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you -- The sure
mercies of  David

October 5

Heb 4:3        “For we which have believed do enter into rest…….” - KJV

In these days, perilous as they might be, the simple solution is still the same, that we which have believed, do enter
into rest in the Lord.  We know that He sovereignly reigns and that He cares for us; therefore we shall not fear, but put
our trust in Him for everything and rest in His faithfulness for perfect provision in all our need.

October 4        The Creative Power of the Word.

Heb 11:3        "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which
are seen were not made of things which do appear.
" - KJV

If we can believe that the worlds were brought into existence by the spoken Word of God, how much more should we
simply believe that when God quickens His Word to us, that there is creative power in His word to perform what He
sends it for.  Thus, if I am in agreement with God on His “rhema” Word, and I declare it in the power of His name, it
shall be established.

October 3        “Thinking on Him…”

Prov 23:7        “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” - KJV

What glorious simplicity!  To meditate on the Christ, is to be like Him – filled with His peace, His Love, His light, His
glory!   To think on the glory, is to be filled with the glory – ready to dispense it!

Resist the onslaught of the spirit of fear that is trying to engulf you and rise above it into the glory zone where you will
receive fresh revelation for every step of the way.

What we think on, we will be filled with, and it will be our fragrance.  Discipline your mind to keep it stayed on the Lord
and you will be the living epistle of His glory, spreading His peace all around.

October 2         “Come Away”

Respond in instant obedience to His call into the unknown heights, out of your comfort zone.  Do not stop to reason or
argue or hesitate, just follow.  At each step there will be living light shooting through your feet, out of your eyes, ears,
mouth and the top of your head.  You will be filled with the illumination and revelation of who He is, knowing Him more
intimately at every step of obedience.
It becomes a path of increasing revelation in the knowledge of Him to receive more and more of His abundant life.
Full surrender to the Holy Spirit  brings you to the place where you willingly offer yourself up to be stripped of all to live in
constant abandonment to Him, trusting Him fully and following in instant obedience.

This paradoxically brings you into the abundance of His life, overflowing rivers bubbling up as a healing love stream of
His glory to all you come in contact with.

October 1        “A New thing!”

Isa 43:19-21        "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way
in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.  The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls:
because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.  This
people have I formed for myself; they shall shew
forth my praise.
" - KJV

God is always ready to surprise us with new mercies and if you are experiencing dryness in the desert, position
yourself for the rivers of His grace while you wait on Him.
He wants to pour our His spirit on us!   Rivers of revelation shall flow when we seek His face and we, as a people God
has formed for Himself, shall praise Him for His wonder working grace.  Praise is the strategy for victory.
