April 26        In Unison With Love

"to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of  God, which in
Christ Jesus, our Lord.
"  Romans 8:38-39

always feel His love? Or do we always experience His love?  No, not always, because when we are in sin, we condemn
ourselves so we do not feel that love, but the truth is that we are never separated from His love.  Sin separates us from
the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but God's love for us does not fail because of sin or any other thing in this world.  Just
because we do not feel it, (even if we are not in sin), we are still not separated from it.  If we are not separated, then we
are together.  Created in the image of Love itself, we are then constantly 'together' with love.  Therefore, accept that
unfailing, unconditional love of Christ Jesus.  Rejecting it puts us out of alignment.  Get into line and receive and accept
Jesus' perfect love for you!

April 25        More than Conquerors

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
"  Romans
8:35-37

Many times we as Christians walk through various trials and tribulations that are to try our faith.  Even if we are strong in
faith, it is set out to test us.  Will the test prove successful or will it fail?  Are you overcoming and in victory or are you
pressed in under the circumstances?  It is time for the Bride of Christ to recognize and start walking in the authority that
she carries.  Many Christians know of their of their authority, but are we using it?  Are we realizing the value of it?  And the
power that we have with it? Or are we lethargic and passive in our spiritual life?  The enemy loves to keep us shut up in
what we know as familiar.  Awake out of sleep and arise with Christ who has set your free!

"
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when
we believed.
"  Romans 13:11

April 24        What’s that beautiful smell?
by Gretchen Rodriguez

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.”
2Corinthians 2:15 NKJV

What an incredible statement! I imagine God sitting on His throne, closing His eyes and inhaling deeply through His
nose a beautiful scent that has caught His attention. Is that the fragrance of Jesus? Yes, it is. However, as our
omnipotent Daddy peers through the lattice what does He see? He sees us; we are the ones that carry the fragrance of
His Son! He sees us, worshiping in difficult times, praising Him in faith for those things we cannot see in the natural, He
sees those hungering and thirsting after righteousness, those who are loving the unlovely, those who are pouring out
their lives as a fragrant offering to their Lord and Savior.
A wise woman recently told me, "
God is more interested in our becoming, than our doing." Let's make that our focus
today. To become a life filled to overflowing with the fragrance of Jesus everywhere we go; an offering fully pleasing to
the Lord.

A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse, a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.” Song of Solomon 4:12 NKJV

April 23        Going Green

It seems like the whole world is trying to "save our planet".  Going Green is at the order of the day from eating healthy to
conserving energy and raw materials and from making it easy to donate funds to any cause that might help in the
protecting of our planet.  All of this energy is spent as every company is letting their customers know that they too are part
of the 'going green' group.  Let's see how God too is at work at going green in our spiritual lives.  Green represents life
and overflow and abundance.  Green means clean and pure!  It speaks of life and energy.  Spiritually God is speaking,
calling us to a higher place of LIFE in Christ Jesus.  Jesus is the way the truth and THE LIFE!  Is your energy spent on
building your spiritual life to bear fruit and to grow in abundance as an evergreen tree?  See what the Psalmist spoke
concerning a righteous man:  "
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in
his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
"  Psalms 1:3  Let's go green in our
walk with God and flourish as a tree planted by those rivers of waters with is Christ, waters from which you can drink and
never thirst again!  Let us overflow with that LIFE in our conversations, our daily tasks, our businesses and our
relationships.  Let Christ truly be seen in you!

April 21        The Spirit of God

"Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them,
Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which
betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the
ground.
"  John 18:4-6

One very significant thing happened in the moments before Jesus was captured on the day of His crucifixion.  When
Jesus spoke, the anointing and authority that resides within Him by the Holy Spirit carried a physical strength strong
enough to cause men to fall to the ground.  The power in His voice caused the men to fall backwards.  Have you ever
seen this happen?  Yes, people fall to the ground in the presence of the Lord when we pray for them at Church, but have
you ever been outside of a Church meeting where someone fell to the ground because of the power of God resting on a
person?  This is a spiritual thing that is manifested in the physical.  It is the very breath of God, the Spirit of God, (in
Greek it is referred to as '
ruach') that was living inside of Christ.  That same spirit lives inside of us.  When Jesus said: "I
AM HE", "
they went backward, and fell to the ground".  Paul spoke concerning these things in Romans 8:9 "But ye are
not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of his.
"  If the Spirit of God dwells not in a man, then He cannot stand in the presence of God.  If sin is
present, it cannot stay in the presence of holiness.  Therefore, does our lives speak of the Spirit of God that dwells inside
of us?  Or are there things in the way that causes blockages so that the fullness of the Holy Spirit cannot operate through
our lives?

"
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the
Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
"  Romans 8:10-11

April 20        Prepare ye the Way

"And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.
And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into
the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up
on his feet.
"  2 Kings 13:20-21

The Word of God is hilarious!  Verse 21 has absolutely nothing to do with any of the context of this chapter.  Elisha died
and I would assume that his grave was open because the people from the "morgue" decided they didn't have time to
bury this new stranger so they just simply threw his body into the grave of Elisha!  Can you imagine the shock the guy
came to when he awoke from the dead and there he was standing in a grave on top of a dead man's bones.  Why on
earth do we find this scripture in here?  The glory and the anointing of the Spirit of God that rested upon the prophet
Elisha could not be contained in death, even though Elisha died of a disease.   It is the same life-giving Spirit of God that
lives in side of us.  The Old Testament prophets were New Testament people who walked earth during the Old
Testament.  How much greater power can you and me walk in while we have the Resurrected Christ living inside of us?
A double portion of the spirit of Elijah was resting on Elisha (2 Kings 2:9).  It is the same spirit in which John the Baptist
walked in.  In Malachi 4:5 we read a prophecy that Elijah will be sent before the great and terrible day of the Lord.  The
Old Testament closes with this prophecy and the New Testament opens with the fulfillment of that prophecy in John the
Baptist whom Jesus referred to as Elijah  (Matthew 17:12-13).  The spirit of Elijah is what prepares the way of the Lord.
John called out and said: Prepare ye the way of the Lord.  We have the resurrection power to prepare the way.  Let us
therefore prepare the way of the Lord before Him so that at His coming, He will find faith in the earth (Luke 18:18).  For I
see every mountain moved out of the way and I see every valley filled and I see every stone gathered out of the way, a
highway of holiness prepared for our God.  Even so, Come Lord Jesus Come!

"
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a
highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked
shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall
see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
"  Isaiah 40:3-5

April 19        Jesus, the Resurrection

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he
live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
"   John 11:25-26

When Jesus received the news that Lazarus was sick, it would seem that He tarried on purpose and waited till after
Lazarus died.  The family of Lazarus had expected Jesus to come and they were very disappointed when He did not
show up.  Is there a situation in your life that seems like it is already past any possible way to be revived?  Lazarus was
already 4 days in the grave when Jesus finally showed up.  Jesus' first words to Martha was: "
I am the resurrection".
Jesus is the resurrection.  Do you believe this?  Everything concerning your relationship with God depends upon the
resurrection.  If the resurrection did not take place, then our Salvation would be in vain.  Those that say that Jesus did not
rise (or that Jesus was only prophet), make Him a liar (and the Truth is not in them), because Jesus stated everything
concerning His death and his resurrection before it ever happened.  With the raising of Lazarus, Jesus foretells His
death and resurrection and that He has the power and the victory over death.  Jesus has the victory over the things in
your life that is dead.  He is the resurrection and He lives in you.  Resurrection lives in you!  He is the one that can and
will revive everything that seems as dead in your life.  Do you believe?

"
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;"
2 Corinthians 1:10

April 18        Purpose

"“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them.
”  Ephesians 2:10

God has called each one of us for a specific purpose and a specific calling.  None of us can fulfill another person’s
calling.  We can however be distracted from our own and become involved in other ‘good works’ that strip us from our
calling and our vision.  The word of God says that these things will be burned by fire for it is hay and stubble. These
things are timewasters.  Therefore, “
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”  Ephesians 5:16  Now, where
are you going and what are you aiming for? And what are you doing at the moment to assist the fulfilling of that calling?
What the enemy brings is confusion and distraction.  He wants to wear you out so that you cannot fulfill your calling for
today.  So, what are the distractions in your life?  Identify them and get them out of the way and come into the secret
place.  In the secret place, you will get direction and instructions!

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”  Amos 3:7

April 17        The Spirit of Truth

"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come.
"  John 16:12-13

Jesus was speaking to his disciples and informed them of the sending of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus said that there were
many things that He wanted to share with them but that they couldn't bear them yet.  In verse 25 Jesus explained that the
time had come that he doesn't have to speak to them in parables anymore.  ("
These things have I spoken unto you in
proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the
Father.
"  John 16:25).  With the sending of the Holy Spirit, our minds and hearts are opened to the truth of who He is.
The relevance of the Holy Spirit therefore has never expired.  It cannot because the Holy Spirit is that Spirit of Truth that
bears witness with our spirits that we are the Children of God (Romans 8:16).  That truth reveals His will for us in our
lives.  Let Him set you on fire with that Holy Fire of Truth, because holiness also cannot expire, but sin does.  With that
holy fire, your spirit will be opened to the deeper things of God, those things that Jesus couldn't share with the disciples
yet until the Spirit of Truth had come.

April 16        God's Holy Presence

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and
take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then
will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
"  Psalms 51:10-13

We can walk through our days with a clean heart before God and man and everything will be fine. But there is a more
complete way because we can also walk through our days with an awareness of God's holy presence and the Holy Spirit
so real that it almost becomes tangible.  This is living in the love of God.  In my love, says the Lord, fear does not exist.  In
His love, we are complete.  There is no fear and there is no lack in My presence.  In My perfect love, the awareness of My
presence is magnified because I am Love and I am Life.  Let the anointing of My Spirit rest on you today for in so doing,
there will be an ease and not a struggle to preach the Gospel.

"
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to
them that are bound
"  Isaiah 61:1

Prayer:  Lord, I receive Your perfect love today.  I acknowledge Your continual presence in my life and the awareness of
Your Spirit that is upon me, so that I can teach transgressors Your ways and sinners to be converted to You!

April 15        Come Up Here

"It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth
me upon my high places.
"  Psalms 18:32-33

I sense that there are a lot of people experiencing heartache from disappointment and rejection, but I hear a voice that is
calling your name and saying:  "Come up here!".  In the book of Revelation, John heard that voice and it told him to come
up here.  Jesus is calling our names and He is wanting to allow us to see from a different vantage point so that we can
see the things that He wants to accomplish for the future.  In your heartache and in the pain and hurt of rejection, look up
and tune your attention to heaven and hear and see what God wants to show you, for you have got a whole lot more to
accomplish in this time of things that are yet to be revealed to you.  Shift in your mind to the love and affection of Jesus
Christ for He will never fail you and tune your ear to His command.  It is He that makes your way perfect and if He is
calling you to 'Come Up Here', then He will also provide for you feet like hinds' feet to walk on your high places where He
is drawing you to.

"
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
"
Revelation 4:1

April 14        Praise

"To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his
handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor
language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of
the world.
"  Psalms 19:1-4

The glory of God is shown to us in nature.  Everything that God has created sings it's songs of praise to our Maker.  I like
how verse 4 says that their 'line' and their 'words' have gone out into all the world.  It is music written on the airways of
heaven that is being sung throughout all the earth and it is created to join in our praise to sing and to praise our God.  If
we do not praise Him, the very rocks will cry out in our place.  King David purposed in his heart to praise the Lord even in
the midst of opposition and his words are recorded in Psalm 34:1:  "
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall
continually be in my mouth.
"  There are a lot of power in what comes out of our mouths and therefore let us declare the
name of the Lord and sing of the beauty of His holiness being present in our lives.

"
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately
cry out.
"  Luke 19:40

April 13        HE IS RISEN

"Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he
was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the
third day rise again. And they remembered his words
"  Luke 24:5-8

May we all arise in resurrection power of the Holy Spirit and shine with the presence of the Lord's glory upon us, being
glory dispenses everywhere we go, taking the kingdom by force!

Isaiah 60:1-3 says,  "
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of THE LORD is risen upon thee.  For, behold,
the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: BUT THE LORD shall arise upon thee, and his
glory shall be seen upon thee.   And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
"

April 11

"The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry. The face of Jehovah is against
them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cried, and Jehovah heard, And
delivered them out of all their troubles. Jehovah is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, And saveth such as
are of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But Jehovah delivereth him out of them all. He
keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked; And they that hate the righteous shall
be condemned. Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; And none of them that take refuge in him shall be
condemned.
"  Psalms 34:15-22

April 10  Good Friday

"And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one
on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided
him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked
him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a
superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE
JEWS.
"  Luke 23:33-38

The sentence that hung on Jesus' head was that He was the King of the Jews.  It is our King that came in human flesh to
release us from prison and eternal death.  Isn't it ironic that Barabbas was released from prison for murder and for a
certain sedition in the place of Jesus?  I doubt that Barabbas even recognized his encounter with God at that point.  How
many times do we walk right past the Lord's love being poured out in our lives.  Stop and recognize again that which
Christ has done for us and is continuing to work on our behalf when we acknowledge His grace in our lives.

April 9        Seasons

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:"  Ecclesiastes 3:1

I want to encourage you concerning the season of your life that you are in at this moment in time.  Each season that we
walk through is ordained by God for a purpose.  Some seasons are hard to walk through and others are a joy and a
pleasure.  Ask Him to establish His will in your life during the season that you are in.  I have found that the seasons in
my life gets shorted the more I allow Him to have His way in me.  I believe there is an acceleration that can take place in
our lives when we yield unreservedly to His will.  God wants to bring acceleration to you and in turn to those with whom
you are in contact.  Weather your current season is easy or not, it is of utmost importance that you rejoice in the Lord,
knowing that He will make everything beautiful in His time.

"
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out
the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to
rejoice, and to do good in his life.
"  Ecclesiastes 3:11-12

April 8        Eutychus

"And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was
long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went
down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was
come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. And
they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
"  Acts 20:9-12

I think God is quite humorous and has places some of the funniest stories in his HOLY WORD.  One of the those stories
is in Acts.  I don't think I would laugh if someone falls from a building, but this picture is simply hilarious.  Eutychus, was
a fellow who attended one of Paul's meetings.  Paul was preaching his heart out till midnight, when Eutychus, sitting in
the window on the 3rd floor of the building, fell asleep and fell to the ground all the way to the bottom floor.  I can just
imagine the uproar, as they thought he was dead, but instead Paul ran down and fell on him and then declared him to
be alive.  Paul then continued to break bread as if nothing happened and then went on preaching till the break of dawn.
Have you ever been in an all night meeting?  I'm not talking about an all night worship meeting or even an all night prayer
meeting, but an all night preaching meeting!  Paul was so full of the Word of God that he just preached all night long.
And God just used Eutychus to keep the people's attention and to keep them awake!  Do you think people were falling
asleep in that meeting after Eutychus fell and was taken for dead?  Sometimes we take life too serious when God had
already made full provision for all that we are to encounter in this life.  I don't think God warned Paul before hand that
someone might die in his meeting, no instead, I think God ordained it all in sequence already knowing the end from the
beginning.  When hard situations come our way, we wanna easily get all stressed out and we find ourselves fearing the
most dreaded things, while God had already planned the end on our behalf.  Instead God is calling us to simply rest in
His grace, and in peaceful assurance know that HE IS GOD.

"
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalms 46:10

April 7        Freedom in Christ

"Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we
were able to bear?
"  Acts 15:10

Peter, as the first witness to this, boldly professed that salvation was given to the Gentiles in the same manner that it
was given to the Jews that all men might receive salvation through the faith in the Son of God.  Peter was determined
that men should not return to the law but to receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.  Many people seem to default
to the works of the law, but it is a yoke of bondage which none is able to bear.  Are we as leaders placing yokes of
bondage on ourselves or even onto others, making expectations of them that is not possible to be kept?  Be careful not
to be entangled again with this yoke of bondage, but boldly stand in that freedom that Christ as wrought on the cross and
intentionalize it in your life.

"
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of
bondage.
"  Galatians 5:1

April 6        Go through the door

"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
"
Revelation 4:1

Have you ever wanted to know your future?  Well, God wants to speak to us and show us things that must soon take
place.  One cannot hear that voice or see those things when we are earthbound and stuck in our rational and analytical
understanding of things.  We can comply with the rules and laws that are set in place in this world by men, but we don't
have to be bound by them and allow them to limit our mindset.  Instead, let us become free in our minds, by taking on
the mind of our Lord, and be bound only by the laws and rules that God sets in place over our lives.  That freedom in
mind, brings the unseen realm of the third heavens much closer and we can tap into the eternal by walking through that
door in the heavenlies by His Spirit.  Allow Jesus to take you into the heavenly realms in your life, so that you can live in
an eternal way in temporal world.

"
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen
are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
"  2 Corinthians 4:18
