	During our recent ministry trip to the Philippines, we have had the privilege to be part of a youth rally hosted at Christian Praise Fellowship, the home of the orphans. We have come to know the Pastors and their son, Ray as humble servants of the Lord who are truly fulfilling their call in an excellent way. Pastors Abraham and Stella Duclayan started their minstry in 1987, called Christian Praise Fellowship with the different functional programs under it. The Church outreaches, pioneered by the Pastors have ministries in the mountains and also include the orphanage, the Christian School and the Radio Gospel program. They are soon to start a Bible Training Course to help in their newly opened outreaches in the provinces of region 1, San Fernando. The Pastors' son, Ray, is a tremendous help in the ministry and he is also an excellent worship leader, teaching the young people to worship, and training others to be worship leaders. The Brief History of the Home. In 1987 there were 30 neglected children from the different mountains of Cordillera who were referred to our small church fellowship for temporary residential care. Some of them were orphans, abandoned, foundling and fatherless. In order to serve and care for them, the Home was established as a non-profit and charitable institution. After a month of caring for them they became born-again Christians and filled the HOME witheir praises, worship and prayers daily. Due to their non-stop praies, we named the HOME Christian Praise Children's Home. To update: Of the children, having been in their care over the last 20 years, there are 300 of them who became Christians with good jobs and are still serving the Lord. There are about 20 of them who are in full-time ministry. The HOME now has a total number of 50 children, aged between 8-17. Everything is moving smoothly in the home, though there are many needs to be met. Vision/Mission Vision - All neglected children will achieve dignity, self-esteem and self sufficiency through residential care. Mission - To help improve the quality of life of the neglected children by providing programs and services, teaching them the ways of the Lord.

The body of Christ is here to

show them that Jesus cares.

Home

There are currently 50 children in this
home and, although the needs are
continuous, they are in great need of
provision for ACE School materials.
More children could be
accommodated, but the government
requires proof of $50.00 provision per
child per month.

What has greatly impressed me is that
there is so much love in this home
that you never hear a child cry. The
Pastors have a great administration
gift and the children are taught to take
care of one another and in the
process they develop leadership
qualities.
